Chemistry Specialist

We are looking for chemists with deep expertise in a specific subdiscipline to help train and evaluate AI models. You will write and review questions in your area and judge the correctness of AI answers.

Key Responsibilities
- Write and review chemistry questions in your subdiscipline (organic, inorganic, physical, analytical or computational).
- Assess AI answers for correctness and explain errors.
- Write reference answers with clear mechanistic or quantitative justification.
- Review other experts' questions for difficulty and accuracy.
- Give structured written feedback.
- Follow project guidelines, take part in calibration and review sessions, and incorporate feedback to keep quality consistent.

Required Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in chemistry with demonstrated expertise in at least one subdiscipline.
- Ability to explain complex chemistry clearly.
- Excellent written English.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications
- Research publications in your subdiscipline.
- Teaching experience.
- Experience with computational chemistry tools.

- If a task, a model output or a guideline contains such content, stop, do not reproduce it, and report it to the project team.
- Safety-related answers must stay at the level of general hazard awareness and appropriate safety practice.
- Rex may reject or remove any submission that breaches these rules.
