Question 1

What is Keywork?

Accepted Answer

Keywork lists paid, remote AI training and data annotation roles from several platforms in one place, and ranks them by how well they fit your languages and field. We are independent and not affiliated with the platforms we list.

Question 2

Is Keywork free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Browsing, creating a profile and applying are free, always.

Question 3

Do I need experience?

Accepted Answer

Not always. Roles marked “No experience needed” are open to anyone who can follow guidelines carefully. Others ask for a profession, such as law, medicine or software, or for fluency in a specific language.

Question 4

How do I apply?

Accepted Answer

Open a role and click Apply. You are taken to the platform's own site through our referral link and apply there directly. Keywork doesn't receive or handle your application.

Question 5

Who hires and pays me?

Accepted Answer

The platform. Keywork doesn't employ anyone or make payments. Pay, contracts and the work itself are between you and the platform that takes you on.

Question 6

Why should I create a profile?

Accepted Answer

With a profile, roles are ranked for you: the ones that match your languages, field and rate come first, with a note on why each one fits.

Question 7

Do I need an account to apply?

Accepted Answer

No. You can browse every role and apply without signing up. An account only adds the ranking by fit.

Question 8

Can I apply to more than one role?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as many as you like, on one platform or several. Each application is separate and is handled by the platform you applied to.

Question 9

How much do these roles pay?

Accepted Answer

Each platform sets its own rates. When a platform publishes the pay, we show it on the role. Specialist roles, for example in law, medicine or software, generally pay more than general ones.

Question 10

Which countries can apply?

Accepted Answer

Most roles are remote and open worldwide. Some are limited to certain countries; when that is the case, the countries are shown under Location on the role's page.

Question 11

I applied. When will I hear back?

Accepted Answer

That depends on the platform. After you click Apply, everything happens on their side, including any assessment or interview, and we can't see the status of your application. If you have questions about it, contact the platform directly.

Question 12

Why does Keywork use referral links?

Accepted Answer

It is how the site is funded. Platforms run referral programs, and when someone we sent is hired, the platform may pay us. It costs you nothing and doesn't affect your chances or your pay.

Question 13

How do I delete my account or my data?

Accepted Answer

Sign in, open your profile and choose 'Delete my account' at the bottom of the page.

Question 14

What do you do with my data?

Accepted Answer

We use it to match you with roles and we don't sell it. The details are in our privacy policy.
