Insurance Expert

AfterQuery is seeking Insurance Experts to create and refine insurance industry challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will design and evaluate insurance scenarios that test the AI's ability to interpret and apply complex insurance principles, ensuring that our models can navigate real-world underwriting, claims, and risk management situations with precision and industry insight. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between proven insurance practice and innovative AI solutions, making a tangible impact on the future of insurance technology.

What you'll do

• Develop high-quality insurance questions and case studies that challenge AI models on topics such as underwriting analysis, claims adjudication, policy interpretation, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, actuarial principles, and more.
• Evaluate and validate model responses, offering detailed feedback to ensure accuracy and adherence to insurance industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with a team of insurance and technical experts to fine-tune question difficulty and ensure content is both challenging and educational.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Proven experience in insurance operations, underwriting, claims management, or risk assessment with a robust understanding of various insurance products and industry practices.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Nice to have

• Multiple years of insurance industry experience, ideally across diverse lines of business (property & casualty, life & health, commercial, etc.).
• Prior involvement in insurance publications, regulatory work, or insurtech initiatives.
• Professional designations (CPCU, CLU, ChFC, ARM, AINS, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI or technology-driven insurance applications is a plus.
